Kristin is a strategic and technical communicator with a passion for creative content marketing and social media consulting. She has over 8 years of experience dedicated to building brands and consulting social media marketing strategies for clients in various industries.
Working as the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for VietChallenge, the first global competition for Vietnamese startups; Kristin discovered many new talents for their marketing team. She has been leading this team through two seasons of VietChallenge’s competition; recruited more than 500 competing entrepreneurial projects from 21 countries, and received sponsorships from 18 different partners globally. Running her own business that specializes in social media marketing since 2013, Kristin helped many of her clients to grow their businesses by implementing different marketing strategies and utilizing social media to advertise.
Kristin is well-known in the Vietnamese community in the Bay Area through her involvement in many non-profit organizations and events. She is currently the Head of Marketing for the Association of Vietnamese Students and Professionals in the U.S. with over 28,000 members across 50 states. Partnered with two other colleagues, Kristin also helped build and grow a community dedicated to Vietnamese Professionals in the Bay Area (VNSF). Within a year since founding date, the group currently has over 1,500 active members; hosting many networking events to further connect Vietnamese professionals.
Kristin holds a Master of Arts in Professional Communication from the University of San Francisco, and a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from West Texas A&M University.
